The National Weather Service in Hanford has issued a Red Flag
Warning, which is in effect until 5 PM PDT Saturday.
* AFFECTED AREA…Fire weather zone 579 West Side Hills. Fire
weather zone 590 Central Sierra Foothills. Fire weather zone
592 Central Sierra.
* WIND…Northwest to Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts
reaching 20 to 25 mph. Ridge-top wind gusts reaching 35 mph.
* HUMIDITY…5 to 15 percent for the lower elevations each
afternoon. 10 to 20 percent for the higher elevations of the
Sierra Nevada.
* IMPACTS…Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
