About this space

A very private, spacious and dog friendly home located in Pine Mountain Lake. It is fully equipped, including a Whole House Generator, with everything you need for year round fun. There is a $42 per car fee paid at the community gate which gives you access to many amenities PML has to offer for your stay up to 7 days. The Deck is perfect for enjoying the outdoors. With WiFi, Cable TV, BBQ, Fireplace, it is the perfect place for your family gathering and just 30 minutes to Yosemite National Park!

The space

Guests have access to the whole house and garage as well as all the Pine Mountain Lake amenities. Note there is a $42 fee per car paid at the Pine Mountain Lake gate which gives you access to all the amazing amenities it has to offer for 7 days. Read the House Manual before you arrive for more information!

Each level of the house has a deck with gorgeous views of the forest. The home has Central Air Conditioning and Heating. We have a Whole House Generator for those all too frequent power outages.

We are adhering to CDC guidelines on cleaning and sanitation. Everything, including coffee cans, oil bottles, shampoo bottles, light switches etc. is cleaned and sanitized with a CDC approved, food safe sanitizer before check-in. More information is in the house manual.

The Upper (Street Level) Floor has:

Cancellation Policy:

We have a moderate cancellation policy which is as follows:

Get a full refund of accommodation fees if you cancel 5 or more days before check-in.
Cancel within 5 days of check-in, or after you’ve checked in, and accommodation fees for the nights not spent 24 hours after the official cancellation are 50% refunded.

While we are pet friendly please do not leave your pet unattended on the property. Please, no pets on the furniture or beds. We provide doggie bowls and poop bags which should be disposed of in the outside trash cans. Please note that pets are only allowed on paved roads and trails, on a leash, in Yosemite National Park. We can host a maximum of two dogs. There is an additional pet fee of $40 per stay.

Close by is the Big Creek Trail a beautiful trail which is the old Hetch Hetchy railroad bed.

Besides Yosemite, there are other lovely and interesting towns in the area such as Jamestown, Sonora, and Murphys to explore.

We rarely get snow in Groveland, but there will be snow in Yosemite National Park. During the winter you will need to carry chains. If you don’t have chains you can buy them at Yosemite Adventure Supplies next to Mar-Val Supermarket. You can return unused chains for a small fee.

Getting around

There is no public transportation to Pine Mountain Lake. We rarely get snow. It is only 30 minutes drive to the Yosemite National Park Big Oak Flat (Hwy 120 West) gate. From May 15 to September 29 YARTS provides bus service to Yosemite National Park from Mary Laveroni Park in Groveland, just a 5-minute drive from the Breckenridge Chalet.
